Bro thank you for putting it to words, I would get so frustrated with Marco because he was so opinionated, which isn't really a good thing for a self-insert MC. I too had to realize later in the game that Marco is his own person, not someone for me to experience the game through. 

So on Day 4, both Ridge and Leo's dialogue cuts off at certain points. 

When I first downloaded the game, I immediately noticed that using the Skip Dialog option would cause the dialogue to cut out (btw the fast-forward animation you have there is lovely). Usually going back a few lines would fix the issue. But when I got to Day 4, I got to where Ridge is found hurt and the dialog simply stops at one specific line. It did the same thing on Leo's route. Nothing seems to be able to fix this, not even restarting the game. 

For now I'll play it on Android and see if that fares better.

Hey, just got the game on Mac. I'm having a very annoying glitch where dialog just straight up stops on Day 4. After a certain point in the conversation nothing else happens; skipping forward doesn't work, and it stops at the same line for both Leo and Ridge.
